As usual you are the place to come to get the answers on publishing! Thank you for pointing us to the Dystal blog.
That was a very interesting post. While his comments were very even handed, I left a comment asking if a larger advance didn't provide a publisher with more incentive to invest in promoting a book in order to increase the odds that they earn back that advance.
